 1猶大支派

猶大原是分到以色列東邊整個南方。主要分為五區

沿海、高原、山地、曠野、尋的曠野。

沿海，有非利士人，極為強勢，有非利士人五城。之後，被巴比倫所拼。

高原，是和非利士人打仗之地。

山地，主要地。

曠野，又叫猶大曠野，靠近死海，地貎枯。

尋的曠野，在最下方，乾干少雨。

在約書亞記１５章分給猶大，到１８章因猶大地大，在猶大中間，又分一塊給西緬。

2.瑪拿西。

瑪拿西原為約瑟的兒子，因為長子流便污穢了父親的床，所以長子的分給了約瑟。

瑪拿西分了二份。

約但河東的瑪拿西半支派，被約但所滅，與異族通婚。

約但河西的瑪拿西半支派，被亞述所滅，與異族通婚。被稱撒瑪利亞人，不被本族人所接受。

目前瑪拿西支派，已不存在。

與異族通婚因而失去正統地位：瑪拿西支派的子孫後來在經過幾世紀的傳襲，直到主前九和八世紀，瑪拿西河東半支派曾有一段短時間被敘利亞和亞述控 制。在主前722年北國以色列將被亞述毀滅的前十年左右，由於約旦河東兩個半支派「得罪了他們列祖的神，隨從那地之民的神行邪淫」，因此上帝便激動亞述王 提革拉毘列色三世入侵，並征服約旦河東的兩個半支派領地，放逐其中的居民，把他們分散在亞述帝國境內（代上5:26；參王下15:29）。東瑪拿西半支派 被擄之後，餘下的西瑪拿西半支派便留在本區，後來與外族人通婚，開始敬拜外邦諸神，並成為撒瑪利亞人的祖先（王下17:24-41）。瑪拿西支派一半被 擄，一半與異族通婚，最後在猶大被擄歸回之後，竟然失去了正統的地位，連想要與歸回的猶太人建殿都被以「非純種的以色列人」為由拒絕，真是情何以堪。
